THE HIGH OF DAYS LEADING UP TO GRADUATION & A STEEP DECLINE OF LOW AFTER

6th-11th March 2010- SIN-PER-SIN

packed my 3 lightest sets of clothing into my hand luggage & jetted off on a budget airline. i could have packed 5 sets of heavier clothes and sat on a NON BUDGET airline if i wasnt for my stupidity.

my flight cost $615
SQ/QANTAS cost $650

-i've learnt my lesson. always book budget way in advance & to make myself feel better... budget only had the flight times i wanted. BUT, STILL STUPID.

PER-Sunday
fremantle markets/cappuccino strip.
hi doggy.bye doggy. -snap-
didnt get to eat the gluten-free strawberry shortcake, but at least i have a shot of the famous bakery that made your savory birthday cake!
random snapshots of freo streets

just right opposite metros freo
weekend street performances that would entertain and engage hundreds of people- we were one of them... for about 3 mins.

Bellaroma- over-rated, big disappointment.
ahhhh... dome. coffee. people watching. sun. love and breakfast.

SwanbourneBeach. a must go, everytime im back in perth (except winter and spring)
Dinner with Tai Lo.
at Golden BBQ restaurant. (Geoff should have been here, he would be so happy.)
just for you Geoff- you didnt eat this plate of scary thing but at least you get to drool from your eyes and mouth!
tiong's is NEW dp. (since you like this photo soo much, i shall not deprive you)
UTOPIA. Bubble Tea, Original Milk Tea w/ Sago - thanks. 102SGMonday
my buddy from secondary school days/ i tortured him and bribed him into doing all my homework and we never imagined we would be at the same foreign place 9 years later.

mr. linken made a surprise appearance.
dinner at the NEW little caesar's in Leederville!
three tier pizzas- piping hot and smelling soo good.
figured that the long drive to Manduring would do their famous pizza's more justice!
"hey tiong, get here and take a photo!"- my muse.
AHHHHH... DOME.
peepeeyer... okay, his name is kelvin & they think that he looks like my cousin- TZEN. what a joke.

Tuesday
road-day trip! set off early in the morning- 7am. from the busy freeway...
to the country side.... (this is about the time the boys woke me up- a good hour of two later)
the sky is just so much blue-er there- makes a picture look so perfect.
of course he had to join us for our road day trip!- even if that means skipping his classes for the day! bad bad influence.
FINALLY, Lancelin.

NO BREAKFAST.
so made our way to their "shopping centre"- really, just a row of shops.
and ate their "beef steak lot burgers"
personally, i'll rate it 2/5. i think the boys didnt care how bad it tasted as long as there was something in their tummy.
a bit of sightseeing and then off to... WHAT LANCELIN IS WELL KNOWN FOR.
the blistering heat.
the white sand...
upcoming- SAHARA DESERT. no trees, no shelter and no escape from the heat! (thats why we all wore long sleeve peeyer!)
the small sand dunes...
test out how bad we were on the small ones first.
then off to conquer the BIG DUNES.
they are no where close to easy- the dunes were very steep... and you know when you are hot right, you perspire and when strong gust of hot wind blows.. sand will fly and hit you like little bullets and they get stuck on your face, your scalp, your neck, your everywhere- because of your sweat. FIRST & LAST TIME GOING THERE.
and the real bitch about this is that it takes you 5 mins to struggle your way up and 3 seconds to "pretend to be a professional" and tumble/slide/trapped in the sand- & IT WAS SOO HOT.
although it was very beautiful the way to pictures turned out.
i can see the ocean!! desperate to soak in the water to rid all the sand all over my body! and a refreshment too! didnt even last 2 hours at the dunes, so left Lancelin with eagerness.
On the way, we dropped by Yanchep National Park/ saw a nice big lake and phyoe ducks.
this is the nice big lake behind us.
the only reason why we came to Cavesham- to see the Koalas. Tiong was not too happy about paying $11 entrance fee to see "a few koalas thrown in and cant touch them or feed them" Ko Ko Ko Ko aaaaa Laaaaaaasss!
Wednesday-Graduation Day!
went to school to collect regalia and took a last walk around bush court. no shortage of familiar faces. :)
darren!
and look look... at my paparazzi shots.
Ann !
and of course- C.O.B(cranky ol' bastard) as he calls himself, doesnt look cranky at all! all smiles when we sat down for a long chat
his fav. student, yeaahhhh right. started off yelling at me and telling me how incompetent i was- very unforgiving with his words. marked down our report and almost failed his unit- saving grace was our exams! he is a great teacher and has given alot of advice on how to survive in a work environment. Bill Chitty, my fav marketing professor.
sped to everyones fav spot on campus/ the tavern.
good times & parties took place HERE.
on the house celebratory drinks!
nigel, clueless but confident of what the future will bring. clueless was what it was all about when we were mugging for our exams!

TIME TO THROW ON YOUR ROBE, BECAUSE ITS TIME TO GRADUATE WITH YOUR FELLOW COURSE MATES & FRIENDS!

they sat through the WHOLE ceremony... although one fell asleep and the other one was entertaining himself with the iphone games!
tradition
aborginals are proud of us
the nerve wrecking 5 seconds- hoping i wont trip and fall on my face infront of everyone.
refreshments were LOUSY.
ohh yeahhh
"our piece of cake degree!"- oh nigel, you are too funny.
and all i did was to wave it all around like i just won a million dollars
Iva!

this girl is very special- she was in the same class as nigel and i and remember bill chitty(C.O.B)- he made her cry and she made a dramatic exit out of class letting everyone know what a bully he is. But look is smiling now!!

the guy with the red turtle neck took all these beautiful photographs of birds all around singapore and taking the VVIPS a tour.
van, edward & nur- THE VOICES OF OUR OFFICE(where is shavvy!?)
nur, marie, nikki- fresh young meat.
Closing event was a success!
Back home to my naughty pup. Exhausted & so happy to have a bed to lie on.

THIS MARKS THE END OF STUDENT LIFE

reality is obviously calling, when i have to turn myself in for work right after my short sweet trip.

i will return to perth again, that place leaves fond memories that i'm not willing to let go anytime soon. for now, spotlight will be shone on my graduating perthie mates.

To: SCRATTE LEE/KWOKLEONG
&
GEOFFY LOH/GEOFFREY.

Heartfelt congratulations, its almost the best feeling to know that there is a ceremony acknowledging your achievements and concluding our purpose of stay here with an official closure.
