IT'S FRIDAY, CAN YOU TELL?
13th March, 09- endless events all lined up to kick start the weekend.school, then off to swan valley for wine tasting. rooooaaaadddtrrippp!
i am a tourist. i have been to margaret river, but never to swan valley. road map, gps and still managed to lose our way.
first stop: (left empty handed)
second stop: (left empty handed, right free chocolate samples)
world of chocolate. piled on the sample chocolates and went back for more
....something... gross... egg looking... mustard... something.
emms tried it and it was???
third stop: (left empty handed)
lancaster vineyards.
fourth stop: (left with a full-rounded tummy)
english siblings.
how multicultural. georgie: "at my teaching practical, they group the kids by skin color... that should not even be allowed." i say: "then all of us wont be sitting on the same table."
testing test. red head asian, no.
cheese platter, shared amongst us 4. not alot of cheese, but it was delicious. oh, we didnt pay for the meal. we forgot to pay for it.
drove back to perth with a free and filling meal. came back to murdoch tav to support MUSTA(Murdoch University Student Tourism Association) sess. non-alcoholic drinks for us, i think we had enough wine to drink at swanvalley.
the girls.
under the shade.
leigh, the co president of MUSTA..my group mate for chitty shitty's unit.
they really go all out- play dress up. kill the chef.
left with the right mind. focused and kept to my word. i cooked dinner. eh, apron looks horrid.
kopp! for sammy. i finally did it! success! i learnt from the master himself to cook this specialty dish!
after dinner.. had to rush for our fremantle prison night tour. newbie really.
yay now and freak out later.
snapsnap. wassup.
solitary confinement cells.
the courtyard. tourguide: "so what do you think the prisoners do here?" geoff: "wash their hands after they eat, play monopoly." wtf. monopoly??!
scared to see.
for some reason, scared to smell. the smell of death.
the death walk- the gallows. all the prisoners that were sentenced to death row were hanged in this room. i swear, it gave me the chills.
other prison cells, 3 storeys high.
not a ghost. just the tourguide. walking along the cells.
the chapel: rumoured to be very haunted.
prisoners sentenced to death row come to the chapel to pray before they are hanged.
half the time i was looking for orbs and ghostly figures in all the pictures taken. i look closely at everything because i want to convince myself that there is no such thing as the 6th sense. my goosebumps tells no lies, i feel.
when home and rushed to the emergency vet @ murdoch. waiting time was 2 hours. fcukme.
who else would i bring to see the vet?
poor baby has been sick since sunday and has been puking up everything in his tinee chiwhawha stomach. he hasnt been eating and he has lost significant amount of weight. i was convinced he was bulemic.
tineeteddy had to wait his turn to see the doc. he could wait, there were worst cases.. that needed immediate attention.
like, this family of 3 came in 1 hour after us and got to see the vet right away -(after all its emergency. baileys only puked several times.. he had no blood oozing out of his stomach) oh, and they brought their ferret in who just got de-sexed this afternoon and apparently the poor animal had ripped all her stiches apart leaving her intestines and organs to dangle out of her body. she had to be put down or have a $1000 surgery that could not ganrantee her to live for the next 48hours. poor kid was crying her brown eyes out.
he still waited. pleaded guilty because he hoped that we would not put him to sleep. or de-sex him.
godddammmn, we all waited with that dog till 2.30am and only got home around 3.30am. shizzledrizzle. it was too expensive to proceed with necessary test and only could afford consultation so we will keep him under close observation for the weekend and see if he gets his act together- if not, then baileys has to beg around asking for sponsorship to pay his medical bills. dog insurance is surely the way to go for this case.
HAPPY 59th BIRTHDAY DADDY 'O!
you are not "going to the grave" anytime soon, just cut down on cigarettes!
