25-YEARS OLD & DOESNT KNOW HOW TO WEAR A SNORKEL MASK.

SATURDAY. 28.03.09- filled with surprises.

georgina loves baileys. baileys just remembers poo-ing all over her room.
who could say no to the beach on a nice sunny day? who could say no to a place that you have never explored? a random trip to rottnest island with dave (good for research, doing a project on RIA- rottnest island authority for integrated marketing) - tiong and geoff is missing out! its only a 25 minute ferry ride!
a tourist for a day.
a squirrel! no, some animal that looks like huge rat.

traditional way to explore this island is by bike
at the bike rental- bumped into pamela! of ALL places, in rottnest. (mom, she is justin tay's cousin)
also bumped into the pilot boys w/o junkai, at the gear rental shop. of ALL places.
the island is an 'A' class reserve... and is maintained well enough to attract more than 500,000 tourist a year.
all smiles, NOW. not later.
we only took a few shots of us cycling- because later.. we need to conserve all our mucking energy into the upslope peddling- that almost killed me.
- i realized today, if i ever decide to join the amazing race... I WILL NEVER WIN.
my ass cheeks and thighs are making me pay right now because they were screaming for me to stop exerting them- whilst cycling.
i think they should implement motorized bicycles. a step up from the traditional. enough complaining.
the first place we wanted to go see and explore was the lighthouse wayyy up there. we already cycled a contrast of slopes just to get where we are in the picture. this snapshot was enough for a tourist like me to see.
stopped cycling because we were both on the brink of death, and WALKED up a slope to see if there was a nice view and if there wasn't then it was set that both of us jumped off whatever was behind that hill.
Thank god we got a view and it was beauutiidrool.

"RIA is WA's premier island getaway and is home to some unique flora and fauna as well as some of the most spectacular bays and beaches you will ever see." - sweeeeeeet.
i wanted to see this.
he wanted to see that.
hell no, we are staying here and moving away from the lighthouse.
on the way, we saw this poor tree that was wind striken.
AND WAS SPOILT WITH CHOICES- 63 SECLUDED BEACHES TO CHOOSE FROM. we finally picked one and.... got lost. it was either THIS WAY
OR THAT WAY. (tell me what difference does it make? we are going to have to cycle our hearts out on the never ending road)
along the way to our selected beach destination, we stopped at this beach without a name and decided to stay put because we were spending way too much time panting on the bicycle- we deserved a break. the waters were clear, so i had nothing to complain about. snorkeling gear out and ready to rock&rolla underwater.
THE BLOG TITLE IS: 25 year old and doesnt know how to wear a snorkelmask.

so my housemate is funnier than me. we got into the water and we started heading out into sea and i told him to tug my fin if he needs to stop and surface so i would wait up for him. right, so he was tugging at my fin every 5 seconds and surfacing. he complained that it was not tight enough and had to adjust his mask and complaining at the same time that water was constantly sipping into his mask and getting into his eyes. this continued on for about 25 mins. we headed back in to shore and while we beached ourselves, i saw dave and bursted out in laughter. his mask was attached to his face and his eyes were blood shot due to the salt water.

apparently he has no idea how to wear a mask and wore the mask above his nose, ALL THIS TIME.
reminds me of boracay.

the handstand challenge.
okay, dave won.

split second shutter.
okaayyyy, awkward.
the waters look very nice, the temperature was not so nice -very nippy.
absolutely love this place. must return here with the parents, serene, poops and baileys. trip was veryyy nice, the beach made up for the horrible bike experience.
THUSRDAY 26.3.09
snuck my spy cam into lecture.

my tummy is not feeling good at all, must be some shit i ate this afternoon. do you believe in chance? coincidence? it was that time, it was that traffic light, it was that same smile, it was someone i have not met in a long time and i thought it was funny how we met again at a traffic light junction.

participated in earth hour.

and time slips again.
