technically, it is not chinese new year yet. we had reunion dinner early this year. same ol' same ol' steam boat and the gathering of uncles, aunties and their little monsters. food was prepared by my grandmother who never fails to keep our stomachs smiling.
visual feast for kiddos, adults you'll just have to reminisce your childhood days- thats if you grew up watching barney the ugly dinosaur, shrek and playing xBox. our gen Z kids gets entertained by barney.(but of cos, they are the first generation to be born into the digital world).
swwheart. the only one still in the "light side"... playing with gold pots and sliding down rainbows.. just beautiful.
she has joined bryan in the dark side already. she was born with a halo but it slowly diminished when she was under the influence of 'growing up'. she smiles, yes. she laughs, yes. she runs-yes. she eats every other second-yes. she waves at barking mad rabie dogs- yes. she is still in tuned with the whole halo-angelic side, yes. but fact is, she is the only gen Z in our family to possess such compelling powers.

sam-seng. she didnt have to see my grandfather to learn from him- the leg on the table is so refined.
finally, one for all.. all for one. everyone was downstairs enjoying each other's company. it was bliss. i could sit there and embrace all the love.
