IN-STOCK

finally, i can upload photos and not worry about eating up my internet quota! wireless is so much better! val configurated the internet access and messed with the router and modem and ta-dah! google.com can be accessed! i'm proud of you ;) so, i am seen as the kid in the whole house. yes, serene is the motherly one, i guess val is more hands on so she can be dad and i am their kid. of course, like typical families.. we fight. in this house, i fight with dad all the time- bicker non stop about who smells.

anyway, furniture is in and all prepped for this mini photo shoot. i was obviously shutter happy and was jumping around because its been a long time since i stayed at someplace clean.FAN IS VITAL.
esp. at this time of year. went to bunnings warehouse and everyone got a fan for themselves- good sleep without waking up drenched in sweat.

val's room. still plain looking, but soonish she will put up all her photos and it will look homely again. wait, plus her mess.. it will look like val- i mean, homely.

i must really learn how to forget, then forgive.

Val shared something with... a book given to her from someone special.

"The Gift of Nothing"- by Patrick McDonnell.

It was a special day. and Mooch wanted to five his bestfriend, Earl, a gift.
But what to get him? He had a bowl. He had a bed. He had his chewy toy.
He had it all.
Mooch thought and thought. What do you get someone who has everything?
NOTHING.
He would give Earl the gift of nothing.
But in this world filled with so many somethings, where could he find nothing?
Mooch often heard Frank say there was "nothing on TV"
But as far as Mooch could tell, there was always something on TV.
Mooch often heard Doozy and her friends say there was "nothing to do".
But as far as Mooch could tell, everybody was always doing something.
Mooch came home from the store and said, "There was nothing to buy!"
So Mooch went shopping.
Mooch looked up and down every aisle. He found many, many many somethings.
The latest this, the newest that...
but as far as he could tell, nothing was not for sale.
So Mooch went home and sat on his pillow and stay still(as cats often do).
And not looking for it, he found nothing.
So he went and got a box and put nothing in it.
Then Mooch thought, hmmmm.. maybe Earl deserves more than this.
So he got a bigger box.
"Now that's plenty of nothing!"
"For me?" said Earl.
"Mooch, you didnt have to give me anything."
Who told him? thought Mooch.
Earl opened Mooch's gift.
"There's nothing here," said Earl.
"Yesh!" said Mooch. Nothing...
"but me and you."
So Mooch and Earl just stayed still and enjoyed nothing
and everything.

with illustrations, it was much cuter.
it made me laugh and it made my heart ache a little.
I could have nothing, but everything from you. xoxo.
